God's Provision
God provides. Countless examples throughout the Bible reveal God's provision for His people. Even when they doubted Him, their needs were met. God provided a perfect place for Adam and Eve to live; He provided for Noah and his family; He provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice it as a burnt offering instead of his son, Issac; He provided the people of Israel with food and water everyday for fourty years; He provided a way for you and me to Him through Jesus Christ. Well, all of this to say that God has provided for my needs in a very tangible way. In the last few weeks I:
-Found a nice place to live at a decent price, close to church and Christy
-Have started a new casual job mentoring a child with disabilities
-Am going through an interview process for full-time work (in winter and part-time in spring/summer, which would work out great)
-Have been able to fix my truck and pay off a large chunk of loan due to God's provision of money
-Have been getting quite a few jobs lately through my business (they have all been jobs that I can do...my back is still bothering me so I can't lift anything too heavy)
-And my dad is out of the hospital and doing alright, and my brother is coming home for Christmas
I have quite a bit to be thankful for. Things are becoming more certain for me. And ALL of the thanks and praise goes to my Friend, my King, and my Provider, God.
