Dad

I talked to dad yesterday. He's still fairly weak and not 100%. Continue to pray for his strength to come back. The chemicals from the chemo will be in his body for quite a while. Mom has put him on Ambrotose and Glyco-Nutrients. He notices a difference when he's on them. I think Mannatech makes these products.

Oh, Deer!

A little over a week ago a deer ran into the side of my sister's car as she was travelling along Idylwyld Drive (in the middle of Saskatoon!) on her way to work. Weird, eh! It seemingly came out of nowhere and smacked right into her driver's side. She had to crawl out the passanger side door as the driver's side was too banged up. The deer died a few minutes later on the side of the road, where a passer-by dragged it so that he and others could get to work on time. While my sister was still in shock, the policewoman said to her, "thanks for finding the deer." Apparently a Semi-truck had hit it a short time before Christy's car finished it off and so the police were "looking" for it (hah!). Christy is fine.

If you thought that was weird, just wait. This past Friday morning my other roomate Candis (yes, my sister is my roomate) was on her way to work on Circle Drive. Near the Warman Road Overpass (in the middle of Saskatoon!) a deer seemingly came out of nowhere and smacked right into her driver's side. Woah, dejavu! The force of the deer hitting her "toy" car (Toyota Echo) pushed her into the next lane and a one-ton truck demolished her car's rear end. The police showed up and had to shoot the deer. Candis is fine. She never wants to drive again, but she is fine.

If you thought these stories were just too weird to happen in real life, you're wrong, because they did. And so the moral of the story is: "If you live in the same house as Christy and Candis, don't drive to work in the morning because you might hit a deer!" (Oh, that's me! Am I next?!)

Truck Got Stuck

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a mid 80's to early 90's 1/2 ton truck. It has to be a long box, regular cab, preferably 6 cylinder (preferably GM). If you know someone that's selling let me know. I need it for a work truck. I will post more details about what I'll be doing when it gets rolling. Thanks.

Dad is doing well. Haven't talked to him in a couple days as I am in Nipawin.
